Trunk or Treat

Our Trunk or Treat is back for another year of costumes, candy, and community! This is one of our most popular family events, so grab your crew, decorate your trunk, and get ready for an afternoon of Halloween fun.

Please remember this is a family event and everyone should act accordingly. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure the safety of all children. Also, please realize that the sun sets around 6pm and there is limited lighting at the St. Mary Magdalene Parking Lot. Dress warm and bring food for you and your family to enjoy at your car!

Tickets

This event is sold out. We are now operating on a waitlist. Please sign up here.
The timestamp of your waitlist submission will determine your place in line for any tickets that become available.

A few things to know:

  • One ticket per family

  • Carpooling is welcome and appreciated. The more we can consolidate, the more families we can fit!

When you enter the St. Mary Magdalene parking lot, you will turn in your parking ticket to a Trunk or Treat committee member and follow the instructions of the parking team.

Every spot in the parking lot has been sold! If you would like to be parked with a group of friends, we suggest you meet at a nearby designated spot and then caravan to Saint Mary Magdalene.

We will be directing cars to pull into consecutive spots. You may not “save” a parking space.

Parking will begin at 3:45 p.m. You must arrive by 4:10 p.m. Please remain at your car until 4:15 pm. After 4:10 pm, we will close the parking lot to new cars.

Activities begin at 4:15 pm and many children are walking around.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE THE PARKING LOT UNTIL 7:00 PM!!

There will be over 400 children at the event, and we want to make this event as safe as possible for them.

THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AVAILABLE ON THE ACCESS ROAD TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL OR AT THE SCHOOL ENTRANCE!!

Trick-or-Treats

There will be over 700 people at this event, which means more than 400 children. This can add up to a lot of treats!  The Trunk-or-Treat Committee has several suggestions. One idea is to go in with another family or two to purchase the treats. Another is to bring how much you would like to hand out and when it runs out, it runs out. We would also like to suggest handing out items other than candy, i.e., stickers, pencils, super balls.

Costume Requirements

Please ensure that you & your child’s costumes are appropriate for this event. If your child’s costume has a sword, gun, or any other weapon, please leave them at home.  There will be a lot of children in attendance, and we do not want anyone to get hurt.  Additionally, along with your children dressing up, we encourage parents to come in costume as well.
